1975 Was A Very Good Year For ancCnoc
1974 was a good year for the Highland single malt Scotch whisky industry but 1975 was a very good year – specifically for anCnoc – who has released a 1975 Vintage that was produced from a mere three casks at anCnoc’s Knockdhu Distillery. Those three casks were both Spanish and American oak casks that are said to produce whisky with notes of spice, green apple, fruitcake, orange peel, toffee and – we kid you not – seasoned leather [if you’re into that sort of thing].
anCnoc 1975 Vintage was bottled at 44.2% alcohol content [88.4 proof] and will be available in Canada, Russia, UK and the USA for $455 per bottle.
