Bimber Introduces Their First Single Malt Whisky

London-based distillery Bimber has introduced their first single malt whisky called, appropriately enough, The First.

Bimber The First is the culmination of aging in five Available from 13 September, The First whisky has been aged in Pedro Ximénez Sherry casks, then bottled at 54.2% alcohol by volume [108.4 proof].

Only 1000 bottles of Bimber The First are being made available – 800 of those destined for the UK only – for $145 per bottle beginning in September 2019.

Also, Bimber’s second bottling – a whisky emanating from a re-charred American oak cask – is currently scheduled for release, at $80 per bottle, in October 2019.
