Bowmore Bows Three More
The Bowmore Distillery figured you would like to have some more of their fine whisky and has made three new expressions available for your perusal – Black Rock, Gold Reef and White Sands. With names drawing inspirations from the Scottish island of Islay, the Black Rock is a single malt matured in first fill ex-Spanish sherry casks and producing notes of peat smoke, toffee and orange. The Gold Reef is matured in first fill ex-bourbon casks and exudes notes of vanilla, citrus and coconut. The White Sands is a 17-Year-Old which has been matured in Bowmore’s No. 1 Vaults – the oldest maturation warehouse in Scotland – and sends off notes of fruit, malt and peat smoke.
Black Rock [$75], Gold Reef [$100] and White Sands [$135] will be available in duty-free shops at airports worldwide beginning in mid-April 2014.
