Hi, I am currently in a place where intoxicating liquids of any sort is banned. Well, it did not stop me from getting tipsy. I make wine every now and then for personal consumption only. I am actually happy with it.

How about you? Have you tried making your own booze?

I have thought about it several times, but never really considered it seriously

No, I also have not tried making my own booze, because they're quite cheap already to begin with, so no need to exert effort into making one. I'd rather just buy.

True. Booze is really cheap in most part of the world. I am actually in a country where intoxicating drinks are banned so that is why we are trying to be resourceful. Thanks for your comment

Well it's not about money but more about the experience.

That's quite unfortunate that intoxicating drinks are banned but what can you do.

Well I have seen the bew your beer post, which sounds a bit more reasonable, and this makes me wonder if there are people out there still making some bathtub gin.

@jakub1, Well I'm definitely not after the experience, I would prefer convenience, so I would rather buy one than make one.

We make our own booze, that's what we do. Now we are making wine. Next project would be vodka...

Yup, I have also seen some make those, also ginger ale. I don't know if I am going to try that. Too much carbon gives me a tummy ache.
    Thank you for your comment.

It's better if you don't, no need to hurt your health or risk it.

True. It is better to have it without any side effects. Sometimes being curious has its perks but on this one, I'd rather not do it.

Just wondering, where are you located now where alcoholic drinks are banned?

It could be a conservative country that prohibits alcohol.

I am working in Saudi Arabia. And my current location is the most devoted place in practicing Islam. This is where they train their religious police.

My suspicion was right all along, I know Saudi Arabia is one of the most strict countries out there.

I have not seriously thought of making my own booze. I thought there are alot of chemistry involve in alcohol making that may involve some machine usages.
