i do not believe there is a much better location for stogie smoking than that - far from the disapproval crowd and you don't have to worry about ashtrays

Haha, I quite agree! Although I don't smoke as many cigars in the summer as I used to, I love to light one up on the beach - especially at night. It just feels really relaxing.

I am not a cigar smoker but I love the smell of them. I enjoy seeing a man smoking a cigar. There is just something so sophisticated and classy about it. The beach would be the perfect relaxing place. Sipping on a cold one and watching a sunset would make it even better.

You should try it! There are various aromas so you're bound to find something that you like. Plus, the "aftermath" is wonderful, especially on the beach.

Maybe I will give it a try! I am not a smoker but I do enjoy a smoke when I am drinking. I will have to check out the various aromas and see what I find! :)

Also, if you find out cigars aren't really your type you can always try a hookah. They are just as relaxing on the beach as cigars, with varios aromas as well! :p

That's the advantage of sand. While I don't suggest littering of any kind, there's a good chance that the ashes will become one with the shoreline, which is essentially how sand came to be in the first place. Carry on, my good man!

God, it's amazing to smoke by the beach, the sea is just enjoyable as hell and with a Cigar in your hand; it's magical. I want it so bad.

I haven't ever tried that before. I do smoke cigars on occasion. I bet it would be fun to smoke by the beach. I actually live in a lake community but I have never tried them lakeside before. It might be very relaxing actually.

It would make a nice scenic view to relax with if you want to smoke and the sea air would make sure the cigar smoke is blown away and not lingering around you.

Unfortunately, most often when I vacation to the beach, it's with my children and we usually go to crowded parts of the beach. Families and people everywhere and I try not to smoke period while I am there. Some accesses we go to even prohibit it. I would love to find a spot and enjoy the experience some day however.

I miss the good old days where you could smoke anywhere. Not it seems like the only time you can smoke anywhere is only in casinos. I wish I could smoke a cigar on the beach, but not in California!

Ya its the same here in Canada where I live but if you can find a private beach somewhere all is good! We have some great spots here to slip away to and nobody would even notice!

I'd imagine this would be a great place to smoke a cigar. I haven't smoked a cigar on the beach, but it sounds relaxing as all hell. I don't get to visit the beach as often as I'd like. As close as it is to me, I'm just too lazy to drive and deal with the parking.

You should make the effort to go more often. Beaches are a great place to relax and de-stress. Then again if you have to deal with parking then maybe your beaches aren't quite so relaxing. I am not a big fan of over packed beaches. I prefer something quiet with some privacy.

Our beaches in California are not too relaxing. They are generally over crowded and you have to pay about $15-20 in parking fees. If you aren't paying a flat fee, you're paying the parking meter in quarters which pretty much eats your money. It's stressful taking a trip to the beach, ha ha.

Well I don't smoke but I know people use them as a form of of relaxation. I think walking along the shores with a cigar in hand sounds really good for people like that. Hopefully it's a free beach because having to pay just to walk along the shore might make you more stressed

I don't even remember the last time I smoked a cigar in a public location and I would probably get fined if I did it on my beach. Just reading this thread is making me crave one though.
