Compass Box Introduces Circle Blend
Compass Box has released a new whisky blend called The Circle – a blend of Scotch malt whiskies.
The Circle was matured in ex-Bourbon barrels and includes whiskies from Tamdhu [Speyside], Brora [Highlands and aged in refill Sherry butts], a single malt from Orkney [aged in re-charred hogsheads], and a Highland malt blend [finished in French oak casks].
The Circle is bottled at 46% alcohol by volume [92 proof] and is said to contain notes of apple, smoke and vanilla.
Only 6151 bottles of The Circle are being made available for $150 per bottle in July 2019 [in the US market].
