Coors Light Is Made To Chill
Coors Light goes straight for the Millennial/Gen Z jugular with a new campaign with their new “Made to Chill” campaign.
The sales of Bud Light and Coors Light — the two biggest beer brands in the U.S. — are both down this year, Bud Light slumping at 5.7% and Coors Light not much better with their minus 2.5%.
But Coors Light is attempting to stop that slide with a trio of commercials with the tagline “Made to Chill” targeting millennial and Gen-Z drinkers. One targets the female millennial worker coming home from a long day at work [with some Toots and the Maytals “Pressure Drop”], a male preparing for his “shower beer” and perhaps the best of the bunch – a couple of typical dudes settling in to watch the morning’s slate of “football” with the proper accompaniments.
