My name is Martin and I live in Scotland. I love fine things in life, such as gourmet food, travelling around the world and, last but not least, whisky (naturally, I’m partial to a tipple of whiskey or bourbon as well). I have tasted hundreds of whiskies during the recent years and I finally decided to share my experience.

[…] great pairing with all cigars, the flavors match perfect with cigars. My "everyday" favorite are: Isle of Jura 10 year and Glenfarclas 15 […]

I kindheartedly concur… Jura 10 is perfectly priced, and offers good bang for your hard-earned buck. FOR me… it’s not just the price, the taste was much smoother than a 2nd Dalmore12 which IS considered a MUST TRY at other web-site reviews. Not only do I enjoy Jura 10, I’ve tried Superstitious and the Jura 16, pure joy with each of these fine drinks. If I were to reconsider Dalmore scotch, it would be a finer scotch… their Cigar Malt, awesome, just a tad too pricey for everyday casual drink. JURA 10 is a pleasure to drink as it still FITS into my budget.
