Johnnie’s Got A Brand New Bottle
Johnnie Walker is a timeless classic whisky – and that is the problem. Or, at least, it is the problem as Johnnie’s parent company Diageo sees it, because timeless classic whiskies generally are not viewed favorably by those in the 25-35 age ranges. They’re no Fireball, you see. So, in an effort to make Johnny more hip to the times – and sell more whisky – JW’s Red Label is being given a redesign and a slick marketing campaign that will include some television commercials aimed directly at the hipster youth of the world.
Johnnie Walker Red’s new label and marketing campaign are currently scheduled to appear in November 2013.
