Last Great Malts Coming From Dewar’s
John Dewar & Sons will be launching some previously unreleased single malts as well as a range of new expressions which they have collectively dubbed the Last Great Malts. Among the group will be single malt Scotch whisky brands Aberfeldy, Aultmore, Craigellachie, The Deveron and Royal Brackla.
Aberfeldy is a Highland single malt that has honey notes and is available globally as a 12-year-old and a 21-year-old, with an 18-year-old exclusively available in travel retail shops.
Aultmore is a rare Speyside malt that will be available from November with a 12- year-old, a 21-year-old in travel retail shops, and a 25-year-old in limited quantities.
Craigellachie has released its portfolio of Speyside single malts [noted for its robust peaty character] for the first time in its history – a collection that will include a 13-year-old, a 17-year-old, a limited 23-year-old and a 19-year-old that is an exclusive for travel retail shops.
The Deveron is a new range of fruity 12-, 18- and 25-year-old single malts, made along its namesake River Deveron, that will be available in Summer 2015.
Sherry-laden, fruity Royal Brackla Highland single malt has a royal warrant and will be released in March 2015 with 12-year-old, 16-year-old and 21-year-old expressions.
