Redbreast Debuts 27-Year-Old Irish Whiskey
You can get really fancy for St. Patrick’s Day next week as Redbreast has released a 27-year-old Irish whiskey – their oldest to date – if you are fortunate enough to find it in your market.
Redbreast 27 Year Old has been matured in ruby port barrels from Portugal’s Douro Valley, then bottled at 54.6% alcohol by volume and is said to contain notes of chilis, pineapple and pomegranate.
Redbreast 27 Year Old is being made available in “limited quantities on an ongoing basis” in 11 markets for $555 per bottle.
