Tobermory Releases 19 And 21-Year Old
Tobermory Distillery has released a pair of limited-edition single malt whiskies, – a Ledaig 19 Year-Old and a Tobermory 21 Year-Old.
The peated Ledaig 19 Year Old is bottled at 51% alcohol by volume [102 proof] and matured in oak wood casks before being finished in Marsala wine casks. The un-peated Tobermory 21 Year Old, meanwhile, is bottled at a cask strength 53.8% alcohol by volume [107.6 proof] with a Manzanilla cask finish and is said to contain notes of citrus, oak and orange spice.
The Ledaig 19 Year-Old will be available for $155 while the Tobermory 21 Year-Old will be available for $165 in Asia, Europe and North America.
