    Which Beer For The Fourth?

I can't say I've heard of BevMo but I'm on their site now. How do you like it in general?

    Bottle Or Can...any Preference?

Bottle for me. I am not entirely sure why, but it just tastes better. Not that I haven't had beer in a can before, and some are quite good (e.g., Modelo Especial), but overall I prefer bottled brews.

    Worst Cigar.

Most of the factory made cigars are pretty ghastly. And I couldn't be paid to smoke those disgusting flavored (e.g., grape, etc.) sticks. There are exceptions, of course, but you really do get what you pay for in the world of cigars. Well, up to a point.

    Velkopopovický Kozel

I'll have to keep an eye out. I do enjoy quite a few European beers. Thanks for the heads up.

    Which Beer For The Fourth?

Not bad, actually. Been working long hours at the office, including weekends, so it was nice to have a three day weekend at home with the family. We fried up burger for lunch and steaks for dinner. Oh, and there was plenty of beer and tequila. :D

    One Big Ice Cube.

I can't say I have ever had my hooch served with one gigantic ice cube. It looks like it would make a mess if it smacked you in the schnoz though. Meh, fads come and go, and I'd wager this one will too.

Are Cigars Less Damaging Than Cigarettes?

Well said. Though we all have only one life on this little blue marble in space. Sometimes you've got to enjoy. But everything in moderation, of course.

    Does Drinking Help Creativity?

For me? Yes. I've written a lot of material (ad copy, articles, how-tos, et al.) and even created workable computer code with a few drinks down the hatch. The trick, of course, is to get a good creative buzz going. Too much and you defeat the purpose.

    Your Fourth Smokes?

haha, thanks for the wishes. Well, Coronas are a Mexican beer, but we do drink them quite a bit here in Yankee-land. Particularly when it is hotter than blazes, like now. Out of curiosity, what similar celebrations do you have in Romania? Is booze involved? :D

Light Beer Or Dark Beer What Is Your Preference?

I can relate to that. I've never been a big Vodka guy, though I did go through a phase in which I drank a bit of it (e.g., Vodka Martinis, Moscow Mules, et al.). I can't say I stuck to it though. ;)

    Fruity Drinks

LOL! True. And this reminds me of a hilarious, and informative, article on that topic: A Guide to Manly Drinks

    Whiskey Flask

I have a small booze flask, but don't carry it around as it stays in a dresser drawer. It is a little stainless steel type and I normally have it filled with a little Johnny Walker. It's rare I take a belt from said, but it is nice to have.

    Velkopopovický Kozel

I never heard of the stuff. Does anyone know if it is imported to the States? If so, is it all markets? Thanks!

    Fruity Drinks

I haven't really gotten into fruity drinks, though some are sort of fruity. For example, lime with a G&T or oranges and lemon in sangria. Both hit the spot during the warm weather.

    Your Fourth Smokes?

Hey pallies. Happy Fourth to my fellow Americans on board. On that note, do you have any sticks you have set aside for the day? I've got a nice Rockey Patel I'll likely be burning up later today. How about you?

    Ever Had Absinthe?

From what I've read, the stuff we can get here in the US is indeed Thujone-free per the law. However, what is available in parts of Europe and elsewhere still contains the aforementioned ingredient.

    Beer With Coke.

I can't say I've ever done that. Candidly, it doesn't sound too delightful. But, hey, there isn't anything wrong with experimentation. I'd wage many of our classic drinks were discovered in such a fashion.

    What Are You Watching?

It is a fantastic show. It departs from the book quite a bit, but it is still set in the fictionalized world in which the Axis Powers won the war, and divided up the United States between the victorious Germans and Japanese. There is plenty of intrigue and action throughout. If you boyfriend...

    Ever Had Absinthe?

Yah, I"ve read it is really strong stuff. I suspect some of the more lurid tales about it's effect are probably an exaggeration, but I can't say for certain, of course.

    Pipes?

Out of curiosity, are you smoking tobacco or another substance in the glass pipe? I never heard of tobacco being smoked that way. Though I know tobacco is smoked in metal pipes (Kiseru) in Japan. Anyway, just curious. I'd imagine it would be a pretty hot smoke considering the material.
