Make Your Own Whiskey In Your Bathtub.

Haha, good stuff. I wouldn't mind making my own whiskey at some point but I'm pretty certain I wouldn't do it in my bathroom!

    Tuborg

Well how it goes here for a can of beer is, you can get the basic (local and some foreign ones) for about 1 euro per can. 50 cents of that is alcohol tax, another 20 cents or so is value added tax. Ohh and 15 cents is the price of the can which you will get back when you take it to the store. So...

    Japanese Whiskey

Indeed, and I think that surprise would be in favour of the japanese producers. I know it was in my case, I saw that this particular one was made in Japan and the first thing on my mind was "I should try this out!". And I'm sure I'm not alone.

    Tuborg

I can easily find the green one here and I do buy it quite often. I don't consider it to be one of the regular beers in this area but it makes for a nice change and it's priced pretty similarly to the local ones.

    Heineken

I consider Heineken to be one of the basic beers. I enjoy it but it's nothing special, I'll grab it sometimes from the store but that depends on what else is available and the price.

    What's Your Favorite Wine?

I pretty much just drink red wine. But there are soooo many options, it would be pointless to even start trying to figure out my favourite one. Geographically it's doable: wines from Chile and Bordeaux would be at the very top of my list.

    Whisky Or Whiskey?

But the English is not exactly the same in Scotland, Ireland, England etc. Of course these areas have their own little twists... or a big twists if you are talking about Scotland. :D

How Do You Drink Your Scotch?

Adding water or ice can actually enhance the flavour. It really depends on the whiskey and your personal preference, I highly suggest trying your favourite whiskey neat, with a bit of water, with a bit of ice, and just see which feels the best for you.

    Japanese Whiskey

Yeah but you would imagine that a lot more of those brands would be exporting to the west. It's a big market and I know that at least in Europe people would be happy to try Japanese whiskey (or one from any other country) instead of always getting their regular one.

    Beer Bellies

And the latter part pretty much proves that it's not the beer! :)

    Japanese Whiskey

Japan is actually one of the biggest producers of whiskey in the world. Unfortunately the selection of japanese whiskeys in Europe is pretty small. We do have (apparently) good ones available but the price is pretty high so I have never bought a bottle. But one day I will. :)

What Whisky Is The Best Introductory Whisky?

Do they not really know whiskey or do they simply not like it? If it's the first, then a lot of the suggestions above could work. If it's the latter then obviously you want to go with something different. Try Laphroaig. It has a very strong smoky (but still really smooth) taste. It's one of...

    Beer Bellies

Your regular beer has about 100-150 calories per can. So if your diet is otherwise balanced, you excercise enough etc it should be no problem to chuck down 5-6 beers per day without it showing anywhere. It might be called a beer belly since the guys who usually have it tend to sit on the couch...

    Have You Guys Ever Puked?

I don't think I know ANYONE who enjoys a drink every once in a while who has never went over his/her limit. It happens, it's normal. Learn from your mistakes... that's all there is to say about this topic. :)

How Much Do You Drink Per Party?

Really depends. It could be a few but usually ends up being... I'd say between 10 and 15. Really depends on the type of "party" and who I'm there with.

What's The Oldest Whisky You've Ever Drank?

I think it's 18 for me. And yes, it was really good. You just don't get the same smoothness from younger ones.
