bourbon barrel aged beer

I didn't think I would like this very much. I was afraid the bourbon taste would overpower the beer, but we have tried a couple different options lately that were quite nice. My favorite was the Boulevard, Smokestack Series, Bourbon Barrel Quad. It's (obviously) aged in bourbon barrels but...
