Wil Wheaton Explains Why He Likes Newcastle Ale

Newcastle Ale is good, but not on the top of my list. There are better beverages out there, definitely.
 
I don't mind drinking Newcastle, but it's not my favorite. I wouldn't seek it out. I love Wheaton's little promotion, though. He added a nice bit of comedy in there. If I hadn't already tried Newcastle, this ad might have made me give it a go.
 
I have never heard of Newcastle Ale so I am assuming that it is not available where I live. I always try beer at least once. Some of it I like and some not so much.

That's such a surprising thing to hear because Newcastle is such a popular beer here. I can't think of a store where I couldn't buy it. I'm not a big fan of Newcastle. I don't think you're missing out on much. :p

Well it makes me want to go out and buy some Newcastle beer. I haven't ever tried it, but I have seen it in the stores. I am guessing it would be expensive, as most imports are. Nonetheless, I could buy some.

Go to a wine and beer specialty store. I bet you will find it there. Anyplace that sells imported beer should have it. It is one of the things that is available in most places.
 
Well I looked the last time I was at the beer store in the import section and they didn't have it. I asked and they told me that they use to stock it but it wasn't a big seller in this area so they no longer have it.

That makes sense as to why you might see it. I have a feeling I'm going to get the same reaction. I may just go straight to Bevmo to look for it. It's like the Walmart version of a liquor store. Liquor heaven, honestly.
 
I have never heard of Newcastle Ale but I'll be sure to try it if I ever see it around. I have had some good beer in my time though.

Newcastle Ale is super popular in my neck of the woods. I wouldn't recommend it, but it's not bad to try at least once. I'm sure you're familiar with Budlight. It's about as popular over here as Budlight is. It's nothing too special at all.
 
I love everything Wheaton does! He was amazing on the Big Bang Theory. I am so glad that he is getting a nerd following and he loves his beers.
