Dear whisky fanatic,

I thought I would share with my readers some information which was sent to me by a company down in London called Ditto. Apparently they arrange various talks by interesting people, and on the 15^th of July this year (so that’s in two weeks) they’ve invited Jamie Milne, brand ambassador for Glenfiddich in the UK, to share the story of how he came to get such an enviable position as well as lots of whisky talk, and there will be some whisky samples and food.

The event is free to attend and you don’t need to call ahead or sort out tickets, just head over for 19.30 and grab a seat. Unfortunately I won’t be able to make it myself, London is rather a trek from Edinburgh and I’ve already got plans to head down in August – twice in a year might be more than I could handle. It sounds like it could be a laugh, though, so if you live nearby or happen to be in London on the 15^th and decide to head over, do feel free to let us know about it!
