Do You Have A Favorite Cigar Brand?

I really like Rocky Patel's offerings; they are truly a delight. Cohiba is another good one. Some Arturo Fuente are a fine smoke.

    Is Cider Grouped With Beers?

I wouldn't consider it a beer, really. Legally speaking, at least in my state, they are grouped together due to alcohol content.

    Wine Coolers?

Indeed, I'm pretty sure they are the ones. I'm not normally one for "sweet and fizzy", but dang, they hit the spot when the sun is beating down something fierce. :)

    Favorite Gin?

Yes, indeed. The British fellow who invented it was a genius. I'm not sure if history records who it was, but I'll raise a toast regardless. :D

Why Vaping Doesn't Usually Work As The Alternative To Cigars?

Agreed. As of right now, I don't think the technology is there yet in terms of replicating the taste and smell of a good cigar. Maybe some day it will and I'd love to try one then.

    After A Meal.

Good question. I, normally, smoke a cigar in the evening hours after things are slowing down. Sometimes I will puff away after doing a lot of outdoor work (e.g., yard work, gardening, etc.) or outdoor recreation (e.g., shooting skeet, fishing, etc.). On rare occasion, I will take a break from...

    Favorite Lagers?

Hey pals. I've been on kind of a lager kick lately when it comes to ye olde beer drinking. I thought I'd ask: what are some of your favorite lagers? Why? Any you avoid? Thanks!

    Wine Coolers?

While they are not really wine coolers, really, I have had some of those canned margarita drinks. They're still a little too sweet for my tastes, but on a blistering hot summer day, they do hit the spot whilst sitting in the sun and reading. They come in like lime, mango, etc., so there are a...

    Wine Coolers?

I can't say I've ever developed a taste for wine coolers. My wife used to drink them, but not anymore. Pretty much all the "alcopops" are too sweet to the taste for my palette.

Why Vaping Doesn't Usually Work As The Alternative To Cigars?

I am a cigar smoker and I've tried at least two vaping devices (standard pen type and a pipe) and several different "juices", but never could get into it. Whatever I tried tasted like chalk or plastic. I can see how cigarette smokers might make the jump to vapes, but there is just too wide of a...

What Is The Worst Whiskey You Have Ever Had

I hate to say it, but pretty much any blended Canadian Whiskey. It is one of the few types of booze I've poured down the drain. I know it has a following, but it just isn't for me.

    Favorite Gin?

I hear you. Drinking it straight is too raw. I've mixed it with diet 7Up (meh), with lemonaid (meh-to-OK in summer), in a Martini (nice), but always end up going back to the old G&T. :D

    Favorite Gin?

Hey pals. Thanks for the notes. Bombay Sapphire and Tanqueray are both good ones. I really enjoy the latter with a decent tonic, and a twist of lime in the summer months. :)

    Beer And Bbq

Beer is great with a good burger or sausage. When watching a boxing match, it is a good drink too. And, yes, as mentioned in the OP, a BBQ wouldn't be complete without brewskis. :D

    Do You Like Camping?

Honestly, not really. Oh, I enjoy a good hike at times, but not camping out overnight. Just not my bag. Though I can see how one might enjoy.

    Beer Bellies

Diet and exercise certainly help. And, of course, knowing your limit. Beer seems to also attract unhealthy sides (chips, crackers, etc.). One has to be selective on what to choose as a meal or snack that goes with a beer. And there are some dishes that are perfectly healthy that go well with...

    Drinking Beer With Food

I do drink a beer with a meal at times. The saltier fare, in particular, goes very well with a nice cold one. And some dishes simply wouldn't be complete without said.

Jack Daniels; The Most Representative Bourbon?

That certainly is true, particularly in the context of something like a party at home. The guests would know what they are getting.

Cubans Coming And What To Smoke ...

Well, relations are thawing between the US and Cuba. President Obama was just down there. There is a chance we'll start seeing Cuban cigars being more common here in the States. Do you think this will happen? Any particular Cuban cigars you recommend? Thanks pals. :)

    Japanese Whiskey

In all these decades, no, I don't recall ever having Japanese whisky. Though I would certainly welcome giving it a spin. The only Japanese booze I drank enough to recall is Sake (can really hit the spot) and Sapporo beer (which, alas, I can no longer find locally).
