Favorite Lagers?

Hey pals. I've been on kind of a lager kick lately when it comes to ye olde beer drinking. I thought I'd ask: what are some of your favorite lagers? Why? Any you avoid?

Thanks!

I used to pretty much be forced to drink Yuengling all throughout college. People thought that because we were in a PA school that we HAD to drink the PA lager.

Now I could care less about that beer.

I do enjoy a nice Red Stripe though. My wife and I went to Jamaica and even though we drank a TON of it there, I still enjoy it at home.

Maybe because it reminds me of bikinis and waves!

I am all for the tradition so I always go with Pilsner Urquell. It is the first pils ever made. The whole type of beer was named after this one, or if you want after a town called Pilsen or Plzen. This beer is mother of all beers if you ask me and I really miss it a lot. In Serbia you can't find this one.

I love a good craft lager that they serve in Los Angeles at the Golden Road Brewery. There is also The District Pub on Lankershim that also has some really good fries and lagers.

I've been there once, it was a great place. Man! Those fries!

A pretty good lager for the money is Rolling Rock, and it seems to have tasted better the last time I drank it. It has a nice sweetness to the malt and this beer has a golden hue to it, also its very refreshing to drink and a has a smooth crisp flavor as well. This beer really has a good price on it and you can find it everywhere.

Just hearing the word lager makes me crave a really dark beer, so anything like that would have to be up there. I am not sure I can point to a single one, though.
