How To Have Johnnie Walker In Your Sole

First Johnnie Walker was making a deal to infuse your tweed garments with the mere scent of its whisky and now, shoemaker Oliver Sweeney has gone one better and provided you with your own miniature bottle of Johnnie Walker for your shoes. Specifically, Oliver Sweeney is offering their classic Oxford brogues with a small compartment to tiny for a Maxwell Smart-like shoe phone but just big enough for a miniature bottle of Johnnie Walker Red Label whisky. Just don’t try to bring the shoes on the airplane with you this holiday season.

The Johnnie Walker Red Label Oliver Sweeney Oxford brogues are made from calf leather, take two days to make and are available for the bargain price of $439 per pair [including the whisky] at their official website.

I don't know what to make of this, especially for $439. Those are some nice shoes, but putting alcohol in my shoes makes it far less accessible than carrying it everywhere I go!

$439 is pretty expensive, yeah. I think it's more of a novelty thing that not a lot of people will buy, if at all.

Imagine having enough money to buy a pair of shoes for $439. I can see why it would be expensive being made of calf leather and every pair taking two days to make but that is a lot of money. Some people have to work all week and still don't make that kind of money.
