Ice Cold Beer In Under A Minute

I put beer on ice and it takes no time to get cold. I do know people who put ice in their beer and I just don't get it. It just waters the beer down. If you want to cold faster but it in water with ice. It takes no time at all for the beer to get cold. In the winter time I have stored them in a snow bank outside my house. They get pretty cold that way.

I have seen that before. People walking around with ice cubes in their beer. It just confuses me, it's not as if the whole beer gets chilled only the top half so if you take a big gulp of it you will still get warm beer. I don't mind beer at room temperature just as long as it's not hot, but that is neither on nor the other.

I have never had ice cubes in my beer. Why not just throw it in the freezer? That chills it fast enough. I just think that beer with ice is just not appealing. However, ice in wine, like a slushie format, I found out is really quite good. However, I am talking about crushed ice, not cubes.

With a little sugar and some slices of fruit and you have a sangria on your hands.
It is really good with sparkling wine or champagne.

I don't mind putting a beer in the freezer to chill, but after using the ice and barrel roll method, it really does work faster. It's not too much trouble to put some ice and water into a bin and spin around a can of beer. It takes about a minute before it becomes ice cold. A friend of mine showed the trick to me in high school, with soda cans. I was pretty amazed at how fast it became cold and it sure beat waiting 15-20 minutes for a freezer to cool a can.
