My Top Ten Recommended Whiskeys

Honestly, I don't have a favorite. I prefer to drink Scotch Whiskey that is at least twelve years old. It's not always my go-to, but it's definitely my favorite thing to have when I get the chance.
 
Chivas Regal is one I've tried recently, and really liked it. I could definitely be persuaded to buy a bottle for Christmas!

I haven't tried any of the others - yet! But as I love a new whisky to try, I'll certainly be checking the others out.

I'm not familiar with Chivas Regal. I'm always looking for new things to try, so I'm glad I caught your post when I did. Maybe I'll look into this for my fiance around the holidays. It's hard to find new things that actually have a good reputation.
 
NY is the city that never sleeps. The bars don't close and people typically don't go out until midnight or later. It is not common for people to stay at clubs until 4am, then get up and do it again the next night. This was a big shock to me after coming back to NY after living in Boston (the bars close at 2am). Although a lot of my friends aren't big Whiskey drinkers, I have to say my favorite alcohol is by far Whiskey on the rocks. I typically stick to drinking a Makers Mark as I think the quality and price as up to par. However, I of course love a good shot of Jack Daniels.
 
Did you know you can join the Makers Mark Ambassadors club? You can sometimes get freebies in bars if you mention it. They also sweetly send a gift every Christmas...which if not practical, is always cute!

Now, you just inspired me to get a bottle and some cream soda to see if the concoction works now! I've been craving for some cinnamon buns and if I can have it in alcohol form, that would be even better~

I haven't got around to trying it myself but I plan to the next time I pick up a bottle of fireball. Cinnamon buns in liquid form would be awesome! :)
 
This is a really great list! I am getting some craving for fireball whiskey now. I just wish it wasn't to pricey! My sister is drinking Evan Williams because she says it is cheap.

I forgot all about Fireball Whiskey! I love the stuff. I used to take shots of fireball at my fiance's old work. It'll kill you on an empty stomach, but the stuff is delicious.

That's a great list! I'm going to save some of those in my list, and I'll make sure to taste them over time with my friends. Probably going to take a while.
 
Out of the 10 I only remember having 3 of those, but I wouldn't put chivas at the bottom of the list. For me at least it would be in the top 5.

I think you should, I personally wouldn't put it so low down on the list. If you haven't tried it you don't know what you are missing out on.
 
I think I would pick the Dewars White Label out of all these whiskies,because its got a great taste at any price range. This whisky has some great smells of honey,peach,apple,and cut hay,also the tastes are vanilla fudge and toffee as well. This whisky has a sweetness to it as you drink it down also,and the price is around 20 dollars which is about right for me.
 
It's quite hard to pick a favorite whiskey from the very good lots out there. But going by the list I think Four Roses: Single Barrel is one great drink.

I don't agree with most of the placements on your favorite list, but surely you have chosen great representatives to join the team. Those whiskys recommendations are really great.

Chivas Regal and Johnny Walker are two of my favorites.
 
Well that is a nice list. I would gladly put this into the hands of others in terms of picking the better ones, because I am not the greatest.
