Rum In Cold

Has any of you ever taken RUM in severe cold?
Does it really help?
I have heard many people suggesting to take some when it is real cold outside. They say oit is safe for children as well.

What do you all think?

Yes I have. I brew a pot of my favorite Coffee and then put a shot or two of Captain Morgan in it. It warms you up real nice a ( toddy for your body). I usually don't drink liqueur often, but I do like this once in awhile when it's cold outside.
