What Is Your Favorite Brewery?

As beer fans, we all have stopped at local bars or breweries while traveling. Or maybe your town is home to some local breweries. What is your favorite brewery? And what did you like about them?

We have local brewery here in my city. It's Moosehead Breweries. It is a great place. I like it mostly because it brews my favorite beer, Alpine. You can only get it here on the East Coast of Canada so that makes it all the better. We use to have a Labatt's Brewery here but it closed sometime ago.

Ah, I just asked you where you are from in one of my other posts. Too far for Jalapeno Ale...bummer.

Although the rest of us can't enjoy, I love that your favorite brewery only sells in their area. It adds to the charm of the area. What is Alpine like? And what types of other beer do they brew?

I grew up in New England (US) and my dad frequently hunts in New Brunswick: beautiful area. One of my favorite brews from the East Coast (US) is Wachusett Blueberry Ale. Have you ever tried that?

The Ursus Breweries here in Romania are fantastic, I love going to them from time to time with my friend. I heard Heineken have some spots as well, might be worth looking into!

Well, my favorite beers are Timisoreana, Tuborg, Corona and a good Guinness from time to time. You probably never heard of half of them, but I can assure you that they're tasty!

I have had Blueberry Ale before and I liked it but it was not Waschusett. It was brewed in Nova Scotia. Alpine is a light colored ale and has a smooth taste. There is not a strong after taste. It is hard to describe but it is really nice beer.

Moosehead Breweries distributes beer all over but their Alpine beer is only available here. Their slogan is "You gotta live here to get it." Here is a link to tell you what types of other beer that they brew. They actually have quite a variety.
