Your Maximum Consumption

What's the maximum volume of beer you can consume without getting drunk. I think mine is just a liter or a liter and a half for an average alcoholic beer. Very important you know your limit to avoid going gaga after an outing.

My capacity is not more than 2 cans. Beyond that I feel I will puke out the entire stuff.
Put in cans for example Heineken I think I am able to drink up to three. That would normally happen under over a prolong time on the table, say not less than than hours.

Lower than most people. I am not sure why but I have never been able to drink much beer and still have my stomach feel normal...usually I need a good nap.

I don't resist to beer so anything above one liter and I'm getting drunk instantly. I can drink tons of wine without any issues though.

It depends what I am drinking and other factors when it comes to how much I can drink and not get drunk. If I am stressed and not had much to eat that day then I tend to only be able to have a couple of pints before I start to feel the effect.

If I know that I am going out that night for a drink then I always make sure that I have eaten and lined my stomach with something, then I can have maybe 8 or 10 pints before I have to stop. That's just pints of lager and beer of course. Spirits are a totally different subject altogether!

Is this a trick question? because you have to figure the percent of alcohol I believe with this equation, and a 5% beer can make you twice as drunk as a 4% version(not sure how they got that figure though). The experts claim this and its based on the way the alcohol strengths are measured though,so I would take that into account as well.

Mine happens to be much less than others, but I think I have come to terms with that. It usually ends in me spending less money and feeling better afterwards.

Every person has his own limits and wise are those who know and understand these limits. Crossing this tolerance level is no fun and will only make you end in a mess. No matter how much others force the maximum limit must never be crossed.

I never stopped to think about it, but I think with 8 bottles of Budweiser I start to get into "another dimension" (if you know what I mean :p).

That would be my maximum. :)

Even for beers my consumption is so limited and not more than 2 cans in a day. It is good that you are gradually monitoring a control. To keep a check on our limits is really important.

I already reached the limit of 11 bottles, but this happened only once (many years ago ). The result wasn't good  and since then I have never tried it again.
OMG...11 bottles. I'm pretty sure that the after effects would have been dreadful. How much time did you take to recollect yourself after this incident.

Almost 2 days.

I got really bad because at the time I had drunk other types of drinks too, so... The mix made things even worse. It wasn't a good thing to do... Not at all. :(

I can really imagine your state. It must have been a great mess. That is the reason why I stay away from overdrinking. The post effects are intolerable.

Once you learn the lesson, you never repeat it again (at least I'm like this :D). I have headaches just for remembering that day. It was an extremely fun day, but it cost me dearly. :p

I already get tipsy after 2 bottles. My tolerance for being drunk is quite low, not to mention I'm not a fan of it's taste.
