Welsh actor Matthew Rhys [“The Americans”] has been named as brand ambassador [a la David Beckham for Haig Club] for Wales-based Penderyn whisky. Rhys celebrated by taking his Hollywood mates – David Annable [“Red Band Society”] and his wife Odette [“Cloverfield”] on a tour of the factory. Penderyn is the only whisky produced in Wales.
