Ice Cold Beer In Under A Minute

lol. I prefer to just put mine in the freezer, but it takes considerably longer than one minute to get cold beer unfortunately. It is just one of the things that makes life worthwhile. Using the freezer is an option you might need, for help.

I haven't used this exact method, but I've done something extremely similar. My favorite way to get drinks ice cold fast is by taking a tray of ice and a small amount of water and rolling the bottles and cans in the pan. You roll the bottles and cans for at least 2-3 minutes. The beer becomes ice cold in minutes. :)

I have put ice and water in a bucket and put the beers in it. It does become cold faster than if you put it in the freezer but I didn't now that if you moved it in the ice water it would take less time to get cold. I am going to try this. :)

All of that just sounds like too much work for me. I'll throw them in the freezer and drink the first one warm if I want one bad enough. Haha!

I have even seen people put ice in beer. However, I will pass on that. I was at a winery event this past weekend, and was sort of appalled to see people putting ice in their wine, however, I did actually have a wine slushie...which I have to admit, was pretty awesome.

Damn, that's an awesome life hack. However, bringing a drill outside, especially if you're going hiking, can be complicating.

Yeah, I don't really understand why people would put ice in their beer, it takes away from the taste. Wine on the other hand.. it tastes really good.

Good grief. That will dilute the taste, it's bad enough that when you go out at night there are places that water down everything including the beer, but doing it on purpose...

yeah, I don't know...I guess there is no accounting for taste! However, at the same time, a beer sicle is supposed to be good. I wouldn't mind having one of those on a hot day! I think they sell them at some fairs and festivals.

I have never heard of beersicles, but now I'm intrigued! Are they popsicles that are made out of beer? That would be fairly easy to make, so long as the carbonation wasn't tightly sealed. I've had things explode while freezing in my popsicle trays before.

Sounds interesting but I really can't imagine what it will taste like. One of the things that gives beer it's taste is the CO2. Doesn't it taste like flat beer?

I don't really know, I haven't had one..but all this talk about beer is making me want one. I haven't had any for quite sometime..but I think I will get some tommorrow..because now I have a craving for it. When I was at the grocery store yesterday I saw a guy that was buying like 5 suitcases,) 24 packs full of Miller Light and Michelob). He said they were on sale.

Yeah, that definitely works but that's so much work is just better to put in the freezer for a while. Way easier and it works too.

LMAO! I can't help but wonder how this process came about. A guy who was very inventive and wanted a cold brewsky fast must have happened. Thanks for the share and the laugh. :)

My preferred method is getting a 12 pack in a rack or something like that and put it in a near by stream that is ice cold anyway. This means we are somewhere in the nature which is a practice that we really love here in Serbia.

This seems a bit dangerous but does seem like an interesting way to keep cool.

I believe that would be probably easier to just put the beer in the freezer and in a jiffy it gets ice cold. I am wondering if the effort and time to set up the demonstrated effort would be an easier option as opposed just placing the beer in the freezer to let if get ice-cold.

I put beer on ice and it takes no time to get cold. I do know people who put ice in their beer and I just don't get it. It just waters the beer down. If you want to cold faster but it in water with ice. It takes no time at all for the beer to get cold. In the winter time I have stored them in a snow bank outside my house. They get pretty cold that way.

Ice in the beer is a no-no! However, I have used the method in the video, but just twisting the bottle back and forth between my two hands. It may take a minute more, but I find that drunk people and power tools tend to mean I have to stop drinking and drive someone to the emergency room around here. I'd rather wait one extra minute.
