Benromach Releases Whisky For Their 20th Anniversary
The Benromach Distillery is celebrating their 20th anniversary with the release of Benromach Cask No 1 – a limited-edition expression taken from the first cask that was laid down when the distillery reopened after many years of closure – and all profits from the sale of Benromach Cask No 1 will be donated to charitable causes.
Benromach Cask No 1 1998 vintage was bottled at The whisky, which was bottled at cask strength (60.1% alcohol by volume – for a whopping 120.2 proof).
Only 575 bottles of Benromach Cask No 1 1998 vintage will be made available for $1,285 per bottle.
The Benromach Distillery was originally built in 1898, but closed in 1983 before its subsequent reopening in 1998.
