GlenDronach Introduces Port-And-Sherry Whisky
The GlenDronach has released a 16-Year-Old single malt whisky aged in both ex-port and ex-sherry casks they are calling The GlenDronach.
The GlenDronach Boynsmill Aged 16 Years is made with whisky that has matured in Pedro Ximénez and Oloroso sherry casks from Andalucía, Spain, and Port casks from the Douro Valley, Portugal, before being bottled at 46% alcohol by volume [92 proof]. The GlenDronach Boynsmill Aged 16 years is aid to contain notes of apricot, nutmeg and walnuts.
The GlenDronach Boynsmill Aged 16 Years is being made available for $115 per bottle.
